I find easy-to-read books stick to me more often and longer. More and more I find less time to read these days, and life drains myself sometimes. For those who agree with me, I recommend these books that helped me a lot and gave me strength to charge up myself to go forward in everyday life.
The Secret is a best-selling book written by Rhonda Byrne. The law of attraction and positive thinking can create life-changing results such as wealth, health, and happiness. The book has sold millions of copies worldwide and has been translated into 46 languages. Rather than the controversy the book created, I focused on how positive thinking would lead us to where we want to be.
My favorite quote from the book is this:
“There is a truth deep down inside of you that has been waiting for you to discover it, and that truth is this: you deserve all good things life has to offer.”
=Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff…and it’s all small stuff=
The title says it all! It’s the small stuff that makes us crazy, but after all, it IS all small stuff.
Written by Richard Carlson, Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff has been around since 1997, but still whenever I read it, I learn new things. Definitely worth reading!

=The Element: How Finding Your Passion Changes Everything=
The Element is on a lot of people’s ‘must-read’ list. I love how this book makes us recognize and bring out the possibility within us. It tells the readers how to tap into their hidden potentials by understanding and utilizing their talents. It is an amazing book with all the real life stories of real successful people on how finding their passion really changed everything for them.
One of the quotes from the book I love is:

=The Last Lecture=
I was introduced to this book by the Oprah show, and the over-achieving author, Randy Pausch, made me laugh and cry along with the book. The Last Lecture is a very inspiring book that will make you live your life to the fullest and try to be a better person.

=100 Ways to Happiness : a guide for busy people=
100 Ways to Happiness by Dr. Timothy Sharp is one of the books that I recently read and ‘spoke’ to me immediately. It focuses on personal responsibility and gives you 100 different things that busy people can do to lift their spirits.
One of the things to do from the book that I love and try to do everyday is :
“Tell three people (today) how much you love them”
=The Circle =
“what you perceive, what you conceive, and what you create are one . . . .”
Written by Laura Day, The Circle had been on my bookshelf for a while without being touched. I felt like I wanted to read it when I was ready, and when I actually did, I wished I read it earlier.
Each reader who follows the 9 steps in the book will learn their own unique lessons and discoveries. Each step helped me clarifying and refine my inner state to accomplish what I wanted. Especially, the 8th step about Inner Roadblocks came to me as a surprise. As strong-willed as I am, the biggest problem I had was my inner self. It was an eye-opening lesson.
I’m sure a lot of people already had read these books mentioned above, but I hope this list helps or reminds some of you to reconnect with the courage and happiness you wish.
