Easy Beauty Tips for Professional Women #2

March is right upon us, and spring will come soon, but it’s still chilly out there and makes out skin dry. We gathered some essential beauty tips for skin care:

Did you know, your hands are susceptible to the first signs of aging and age faster than your face? Doctors recommend to make sure you use a good moisturising lotion after taking a bath or wash your hands regularly. Don’t forget to wear a sunscreen with an SPF 15 before stepping out in the sun.

You might be accustomed to makeup removers and cleansers, but natural makeup removers are safe on your skin and refreshing. Dab some extra virgin olive oil using a cotton ball and remove your makeup. This skin-friendly oil helps in rejuvenating cells and moisturizes the skin.

While you take special care of your facial skin, you don’t pay attention to the skin around your neck. Dr. Mohan Thomas, a dermatologist, says “The skin around your neck is more sensitive than your facial skin. It is thinner and has less fatty tissues and thus it tends to lose elasticity as you age. This causes dryness, premature aging, fine lines and discolouration.” To avoid these problems, cleanse your skin and exfoliate the area to get rid of dead skin cells.

Take a freshly cut half a lemon and rub gently on your rough skin, such as elbows, heels, and knees (daily if needed). The acid in the lemon will soften rough spots on skin and also lighten any dark areas. Wash off the area and then apply sesame oil and massage it gently. This will help lighten the skin. Cut, fresh oranges slough dry skin off heels, knees, or elbows too.

Feet are one of the most highly exposed body part. That is why your feet always look tanned and unclean. For this, use a pumice stone every alternate day, to remove dead skin cells. Also, apply a heavy moisturizer on your feet before you sleep.
