For getting older I do more cocktails at parties or wine over dinner. Bottles started to stack up, and I used them to decorate my place. While I was looking for some other DIY uses for the bottles, I actually found great tips to use Vodka, not just for drinking. Here are some:
TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR
Add an ounce of Vodka to your full shampoo bottle. The alcohol cleanse scalp, removes toxin from hair, and stimulates the growth of healthy hair.
Also for a DIY hairspray, mix Vodka with lemon juice and water a slightly less flammable stand-in to Aqua Net. It works, and smells darn good too!
Loving jewelry so much, I cannot miss this, right? Precious gemstones, sterling silver, you name it, vodka can clean it. Soaking jewelry in Vodka helps remove that pesky tarnish. So if you’re in a pinch and don’t have a polishing cloth on hand, dunk your jewels in the spirit for 10 to 15 minutes, wipe it down and let it dry. Your bling will be back to its original sheen in no time.

Brew a cup of green tea and add ¼ teaspoon of vodka once it’s cooled. Dunk a cotton ball and use the concoction to really deep-clean your blackheads.
Vodka is strong enough to kill odor-causing bacteria. Just put some in a spray bottle and spritz your clothes, then hang them to dry in a well-ventilated area. Vodka is odorless, you won’t walk into work smelling like a bar.
